A well-established, national wealth management firm is continuing to invest in the performance, quality, and long-term sustainability of its adviser population. As part of this focus, they are seeking an experienced Regional Adviser Manager to lead and develop a cohort of Independent Financial Advisers across the Midlands. This is a senior leadership role with genuine influence over adviser performance, retention, and professional standards. You will sit at the intersection of commercial performance and advice governance, ensuring advisers are supported to grow sustainable businesses while delivering high-quality, compliant financial planning. This is not a client-facing advice role. It is a leadership position focused on outcomes, standards, and long-term adviser success.
The role
You will take responsibility for a regionally aligned group of Independent Financial Advisers, providing leadership, challenge, and support across performance, conduct, and client outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Driving sustainable, organic revenue growth across the regional adviser population
- Improving adviser retention through proactive engagement and early identification of risk
- Ensuring advisers consistently deliver high-quality, holistic advice aligned with FCA expectations and Consumer Duty
- Holding advisers accountable to agreed KPIs, including client engagement, annual review activity, and business planning
- Reviewing adviser performance data, complaints, breaches, and client feedback, implementing meaningful improvements
- Balancing regulatory discipline with commercial enablement
- Acting as a visible regional leader, reinforcing professional standards, behaviours, and culture
What success looks like
- Strong adviser engagement and retention across the region
- Consistent advice quality and positive client outcomes
- Sustainable revenue growth driven through adviser performance
- Clear, well-executed adviser business plans
- Reduced conduct risk through early, effective intervention
About you
This role will suit an experienced adviser manager or senior sales leader within financial services who has the credibility to influence experienced advisers.
- Proven experience leading and developing adviser or sales teams
- Strong working knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, and advice governance
- Confidence working with performance data to drive outcomes
- Experience balancing performance management with adviser support and retention
- Level 4 Diploma qualification (or equivalent) and ability to maintain SPS
- A clear, confident communication style with authority and gravitas
The opportunity
This firm offers the scale, infrastructure, and long-term strategy to make this role genuinely impactful. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and be trusted to shape adviser performance rather than simply monitor it. Earning potential up to Β£120,000 is offered, flexible/remote working, pension, health and wellbeing support, and structured development.
