We are recruiting an experienced Financial Adviser to join a growing wealth management team in Northampton. You will provide genuinely holistic financial planning while building long-term relationships with private clients, families and professional connections.

This is not a cold-start role where you will be left to build everything alone. You will work within an established professional network that creates natural opportunities for introductions and new client relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of private clients
  • Delivering holistic advice across pensions, investments, protection, tax planning, trusts and estate planning
  • Conducting detailed financial reviews and producing tailored financial plans
  • Developing long-term relationships built around trust and excellent client outcomes
  • Working closely with accountancy and professional services colleagues
  • Building productive relationships with professional introducers
  • Identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and the wider financial planning business
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of suitability, compliance and client care

Why consider this opportunity?

  • You will be joining an ambitious, people-focused organisation that combines the resources of a major national firm with the relationships and accessibility of a local team.
  • An established pipeline of potential clients and professional introductions
  • The credibility and resources of a leading UK professional services group
  • Access to an extensive international professional network
  • A people-first culture recognised with Investors in People Gold accreditation
  • Genuine investment in professional qualifications and ongoing development
  • Clear career progression opportunities across a growing organisation
  • A supportive management structure and collaborative working environment
  • Employee recognition awards
  • 33 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays
  • Pension and additional employee benefits
  • Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme

What we’re looking for:

  • Competent Adviser Status
  • A Level 4 financial planning qualification or equivalent
  • Chartered status, or be actively working towards it
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, tax, trusts and estate planning
  • A sound understanding of FCA regulations and compliant advice processes
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and professional introducers
  • A proactive, commercially aware and client-first approach

You do not need to arrive with a large portable client bank. The opportunity is built around serving existing and referred clients while developing new relationships through the firm’s wider professional network.

If you are an accomplished adviser who wants quality client opportunities, credible professional connections and the backing to build a long-term career, this role deserves a conversation.

Salary: Up to £70,000, depending on experience
