Are you an experienced Financial Planner looking to step into a truly relationship-led, senior advisory role? We are working with a highly regarded, independent Chartered Wealth Management firm that is seeking an accomplished Adviser to take over an established portfolio of High Net Worth and Ultra-High Net Worth clients across London and the Home Counties.
As part of a long-term succession plan, the firm’s Director is stepping back from day-to-day client responsibilities and is looking for a trusted, experienced Adviser to assume responsibility for longstanding relationships while continuing to grow the client base. With the existing advisory team at full capacity, this represents a rare opportunity to inherit a well-managed, high-quality book and make an immediate impact. Typical clients are business owners and entrepreneurs with £2.5m+ AUM and complex planning needs, who value long-term, holistic advice delivered through a whole-of-market proposition.
The Opportunity
- Based from the firm’s Marlow office, you’ll work in a collaborative yet autonomous environment, with a hybrid structure of three days in the office and two from home.
- You’ll be fully supported by dedicated Paraplanning and Administration, allowing you to focus on what you do best: building deep client relationships and delivering high-quality financial planning.
- There is also the opportunity to contribute at a strategic level, including participation on the investment committee and mentoring junior advisers.
- This role will suit someone who values independence, professional trust, and the ability to build and nurture key relationships without a sales-driven culture.
What’s on Offer
- Lucrative bonus structure rewarding both client service and business growth
- Established HNW/UHNW client book with scope to further develop
- Whole-of-market, holistic advice proposition
- Exceptional support: 1:1 Paraplanning and Admin
- Equity potential as part of the firm’s long-term succession and growth strategy
- Senior leadership exposure with influence over the firm’s future direction
Who We’re Looking For
- Chartered (or close to Chartered and committed to completion)
- Proven experience advising HNW clients
- Strong technical capability across estate planning, business planning, tax advice, VCT and EIS
- A confident, credible relationship-builder with London and Home Counties clients
- Someone who values independence, professionalism, and long-term client relationships
- A team player who enjoys mentoring and contributing strategically
