About Us
Ortus Health provides high-quality, remote clinical triage services to GP practices across the UK. Our mission is to support general practice by improving access, reducing pressure on clinicians, and delivering safe, efficient patient care through innovation and teamwork. We are seeking experienced and well-organised GPs to join our remote triage team. As a Triage GP with Ortus Health, you will make clinical decisions that directly influence patient outcomes. You’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive team, working remotely but closely connected to the practices we serve.
You will be responsible for reviewing patient contacts across multiple GP practices. This means maintaining clinical oversight, understanding varying local pathways, and staying alert to risk in a busy and fast-moving environment. You’ll use your judgement to manage clinical risk safely, whether that means issuing a prescription, calling a patient, or signposting them to an urgent service. You’ll also provide support to other team members such as care coordinators, receptionists, and pharmacists. This is a remote role with flexible working arrangements. Sessions can be tailored around your existing portfolio career or other commitments.

- Maintain clinical oversight and keep your eye on the ball across multiple patient flows
- Accurately document consultations in line with GMC and practice standards
- Audit the work of the rest of the team, including other GPs, pharmacists and care coordinators
Requirements

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
