Ortus Health provides high-quality, remote clinical services to GP practices across the UK. Our mission is to support general practice by improving access, reducing pressure on clinicians, and delivering safe, efficient patient care through innovation and teamwork. We are seeking experienced and well-organised GPs to join our remote team. This role is specifically to cover our Enhanced Access service, providing telephone appointments for a PCN. As a Remote GP with Ortus Health, you will make clinical decisions that directly influence patient outcomes. You’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive team, working remotely but closely connected to the practices we serve. You will be responsible for dealing with patients across one or more GP practices. This is a remote role with flexible working arrangements. Complete telephone appointments for Enhanced Access 6.30pm-8.00pm. Up to 6 appointments on each weekday and/or a full or half day on Saturdays (25 appts + 5 admin slots). Saturdays are also available as either whole or half days 9am-5pm Issue prescriptions, fit notes, referrals, and offer safety-netting advice Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately File pathology results (normal and abnormal) and complete tasks from clinical letters SystmOne, Accurx) and local processes NHS England GP Performers List inclusion Experience with remote consultations (preferred but not essential) Ability to manage clinical risk safely in a remote environment Laptop provided An opportunity to gain experience in a unique, remote setting.
