Title – Partner
Area of law – Private Client
Experience required – 7 years PQE +
Ortus Group have been retained by a highly respected city law firm to attract a high end Private Client Lawyer (partner) to inherit a high value caseload. This is a firm who has a very well established private wealth practice which incorporates tax trust and estates, family, residential property and immigration. The business is highly ranked in the legal 500 for many of areas of work but it is their private client team that the firm is arguably most well known for, the private wealth practice goes back nearly 100 years. The private wealth practice last year made up of circa 35% of the firms total turnover and the client base consists of HNW and UHNW individuals and family offices.
The tax trust and estate team has clients based all over the globe but we have a real desire and need to bring in a partner to lead the growth of the domestic private client practice, we see this being a big growth area in the coming years and want to bring someone in to spearhead this growth.
We have been working with this firm over the last couple of years to help them with their strategic growth and succession planning. We have got to know the partners very well during this period and have been thoroughly impressed by the collegiate culture created within the business. If you are a private client lawyer who has experience servicing domestic private client work then this is a fantastic opportunity to inherit work but more importantly its the opportunity to operate from one of the leading private client firms in the city.
