Ortus Group are working with an award-winning Legal 500 regional law firm to attract Commercial Property Solicitors to join the growing Commercial Property practice. We are seeking experienced and motivated Solicitors that can offer 3 or more years PQE to join the busy Commercial Property team. We are also open to applications at the most experienced of levels including Senior Associates and upwards. The Commercial Property team: The current commercial property team has seen significant double-digit year on year growth for more than 3 years and it continues to expand. As an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, your role is to provide expert legal advice and assistance to our clients throughout their journey. You will be an ambassador for the law firm, helping to maintain our reputation for excellence and generate new business for the firm.

Their expertise in this sector has reinforced their reputation as a versatile and highly skilled legal team capable of handling complex and high-profile transactions across various industries.
What You’ll be doing:
- Taking over a caseload of existing matters whilst growing your own client base – you will get support from our department secretarial team throughout.
- Delivering the full process - taking a property all the way to completion.
- Working on a range of matters including acquisitions and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, grants of new leases and lease renewals, general landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and the acquisition and disposal of land for development.
- Mentoring other more junior members of the team (where relevant to your experience).
- Networking and introducing new clients and relevant third parties to the law firm.
- Upholding compliance regulations in line with our policies and maintaining CQS standards.

To be successful for this position, you must have / be:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience post-qualification in Commercial Property.
- For those looking for the opportunity experience of managing a small team of Legal Secretaries / Administrators (desirable, but not essential).
- Highly efficient and self-motivated with strong administrative skills and the ability to delegate judiciously.
- Client focused and empathetic, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident with the use of Microsoft Office package (especially Outlook, Word and ideally Excel) and Case Management Systems.
- Previous digital dictation experience.
- A flexible team player who is present and calm under pressure.
