Ortus Group is working with a leading City law firm to recruit a talented Real Estate Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded property disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, mid-market firm known for its high-quality work, supportive culture, and strong client relationships across both commercial and private sectors.

You will join a thriving, busy, supportive and growing Real Estate Litigation team, acting for a range of property investors and developers, with a particular focus on landlord-led work. The role offers a high level of responsibility from the outset, including managing your own caseload while also supporting on more complex matters. You will benefit from direct client exposure and play an active role in the continued growth of the practice.

To be clear, Real Estate is the largest practice area within this full service law firm and as a result the quality of work can rival any other firm in the city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of real estate litigation matters
  • Advising on both commercial and residential landlord and tenant issues
  • Delivering high-quality, timely advice to clients
  • Supporting and supervising junior team members where appropriate
  • Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
  • Participating in networking and marketing initiatives
About You
  • Qualified solicitor with experience in real estate litigation
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law (commercial and/or residential)
  • Commercially aware with the ability to manage matters efficiently
  • A strong communicator with a client-focused approach
