Ortus Group have been retained exclusively by a highly regarded, full-service City law firm to help with the process of attracting a talented Family Associate (1–3 years’ PQE) to join its well-established and growing family practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Legal 500-ranked team known for handling complex, high-value, and high-profile matters. The practice advises a prestigious client base, including public figures such as entertainers, politicians, sports professionals, and entrepreneurs, often on cases with an international dimension.

The firm provides high-quality legal advice tailored to every client, with a personalised and collaborative approach and ongoing, hands-on partner involvement. Its client base spans businesses, high-net-worth individuals and families, and ambitious entrepreneurs, both domestic and international.
The Team
You will join a close-knit and collaborative team comprising 4 partners and 4 associates, offering strong mentorship and exposure to top-quality work from the outset.
The Role
The successful candidate will assist on and run a broad range of family matters, including:
- High-net-worth divorce and financial remedy cases
- Private children matters
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Cross-border family issues
You will gain hands-on experience in sophisticated matters and have direct client contact, working alongside leading practitioners in the field.
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years’ PQE in family law (from a recognised firm)
- Strong academic background
- Experience or interest in high-net-worth/complex matters
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
