Overview
We are seeking to appoint a new Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced School Office for an October 2025 (or as soon as possible after this date) start.
The role is for 18 hours per week Term Time only (plus 3 professional days), 8.45am to 3.15pm, (less 1/2hr unpaid lunch) Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities
- Be the lead in school communications, including sending the weekly newsletter and other communications and forms to families.
- Produce achievement certificates and other publications.
- Keep the school website updated.
- Support a busy and varied office environment with organisational accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy setting.
- Calm, positive, and professional manner at all times.
- Ability to generate good relations with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages (to support communications, publications and website updates).
Terms and Work Environment
- 18 hours per week Term Time only (plus 3 professional days).
