We have an exciting vacancy for a passionate and creative Teaching Assistant, who thrives on helping students realise their potential at Orton Wistow Primary School. Under the direction of the SENDCO, you will be supporting children's needs both inside and outside of the classroom environment.
The Opportunity
- Take responsibility for adapting and delivering learning activities with children, as agreed.
- Motivate and engage the students, to reach their full potential.
- Encourage and promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
- Provide personal and intimate care to students including tasks associated with continence and menstrual management, washing, toileting and dressing.

- Holds a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language.
- Understands how children learn.
- Is skilled at developing children's self-esteem and motivation so that they become resilient, independent learners.
- Has excellent communication skills and is able to develop and sustain positive relationships with pupils.
