Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end project management of SISS and communications works, including security, PA, and data systems Regular on‑site presence to support operatives with technical queries, sequencing issues, and problem resolution Acting as a technical interface between design, delivery teams, and clients Planning, coordinating, and managing resources, programmes, and subcontractors Managing client relationships, attending meetings, and representing Orton Group professionally on site Ensuring compliance with rail / industry standards, specifications, and safe systems of work Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover activities Working collaboratively with internal electrical, fire, mechanical, and communications teams What We’re Looking For Proven experience in security systems, communications, data or information systems project delivery Technically confident — able to understand systems, drawings, and specifications and support site teams effectively Comfortable being site‑based and hands‑on when required Strong client and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and face‑to‑face Willingness to travel to project sites across the Midlands and beyond Rail experience desirable, but not essential About You You will be someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting teams, and being involved in the detail — not simply managing from a distance.
