About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Referral Surgeon to join our growing referral team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped, progressive environment, handling a varied and complex caseload, with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced surgical care for referred cases, predominately orthopaedics, with some soft tissue.
  • Work closely with referring veterinary practices to ensure continuity of care.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and maintain high clinical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Support and mentor junior veterinary staff where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the peripatetic side of the business.
  • Cover out of hours on a rota.
  • Have an interest in CT.
  • Utilise CT and arthroscopy in close collaboration.

About You

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Advanced qualifications (Diploma or Surgical Certificate).
  • Proven experience in a referral or advanced practice setting.
  • Strong surgical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Extensive experience with CT and arthroscopy.
