Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina is seeking a full-time, experienced OR Circulating Nurse to become part of our team at our Surgery Center, OrthoNC ASC.
The OR nurse will be responsible for the safety and care of the patient while in the operating room.
Additional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Individual patient assessment
- Maintaining required annual educational competencies required by the center
- Thorough documentation
- Following all policies/procedures at OrthoNC ASC
- Attending all educational in-services and staff meetings
- Participating in councils/committees as needed at the center
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of aseptic technique
- Basic computer skills
- Pulling cases
- Assisting with room turnovers
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and manage time appropriately
- Ability to utilize resources in a timely, organized, and cost effective manner
- Becoming familiar with specialized equipment used during surgical procedures at the center and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.

OrthoNC Ambulatory Surgery Center is a newly constructed ASC with 1 Operating Room and 1 Procedure Room. Surgical procedures at the center will focus primarily on Orthopedics, Spine, Podiatry, and Pain Management. We are searching for experienced team members to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as their families.
