You are passionate about financial markets, investment advice, and the technology that enables modern wealth management. You understand how financial planning advice is delivered in the UK and how software supports advisors in meeting client needs and regulatory requirements. You are motivated to work with our OPAL financial planning solution, taking end‐to‐end responsibility for our UK clients and actively contributing to the growth of our presence in an international environment. You support banks and wealth managers in implementing and integrating our solutions into their broader ecosystem, from front‐office advisory workflows to back‐office systems.

As a manager, you lead and develop an agile team of professionals, creating clarity, ownership, and engagement. You take initiative, manage stakeholder relationships with confidence, and co‐organise and coordinate complex projects involving multiple disciplines. With a proactive, hands‐on approach and a strong sense of ownership, you shape direction, turn ideas into action, and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take end‐to‐end ownership of OPAL implementation projects at clients, from initiation to go live, including managing risks and dependencies.
  • Act as a hands‐on team leader, mentoring and developing your team members and shaping the team.
  • Manage client satisfaction and retention of our UK client base.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the advice journey, supporting the sales team with technical credibility and practitioner insight, essentially being commercial support lead for the UK & Ireland.
  • Translate advisor and client needs into clear demonstrations of how our goals‐based financial planning technology (OPAL) addresses regulatory, operational, and client engagement challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring alignment with FCA Consumer Duty and suitability requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership on trends in financial advice, risk profiling, investment suitability, and client engagement, positioning the firm as a trusted partner.
  • Design client workshops, pilots, and proof‐of‐concept engagements.
  • Act as the bridge between sales, product, and client teams by feeding back adviser‐centric insights into product development.

As Head of UK clients, you'll work closely with your team in the UK office, our UK Sales Director, and colleagues based in our London and Dutch offices. You'll have frequent direct contact with clients and prospects, mainly UK wealth managers and banks, bringing their business to a next level with our OPAL solution.

OPAL is our advanced Goal‐Based Financial Planning tool, designed to help UK financial advisors translate client goals into optimal investment strategies. It incorporates personal ambitions, cash flow projections, and risk appetite, while enabling advisors to monitor progress over time. Its built‐in economic scenario generator allows advisors to stress‐test plans across a range of market conditions.

In this role, you manage a team helping clients enhance their advisory processes using OPAL, and support the integration of our APIs into their digital platforms, such as apps and websites. You are responsible for client retention, employee development and wellbeing, and supporting the expansion of OPAL's reach by winning new clients and introducing the solution into untapped areas of the UK financial advisory landscape. You'll also play a key role in translating client needs into product features, contributing to the ongoing innovation and optimisation of OPAL.

Benefits
  • Participation in our bonus scheme, certificate scheme, pension scheme and 27 vacation days.
  • Private medical and dental cover, group life cover and critical illness cover.
  • Opportunities to develop yourself with a training program as well as weekly research and knowledge meetings.
  • Working from the office in London with a flexible work policy that allows you to alternate between office, home and client partners in the UK.
  • An open and informal work environment with inspiring, smart and enthusiastic colleagues.
