Join us in this role where you’ll you’ll be responsible for performing predetermined maintenance on our offshore wind turbines. You’ll sail daily on our CTV’s based from our state of the art hub in Barrow in Furness, to ensure the safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

You’ll be part of the Predetermined Operations team where you, together with your colleagues, will perform scheduled maintenance, testing, and inspection tasks on offshore wind turbines and associated plant and apparatus.
As a team, we prioritize safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Performing annual maintenance, statutory inspections, HV (High Voltage) maintenance and retrofits on offshore wind turbines in accordance with established maintenance plans.
- Executing maintenance activities across Siemens Gamesa (SGRE) and Vestas wind turbine systems to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Supporting the Offshore Manager in planning maintenance improvements and aligning tasks with operational priorities.
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and actively contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture across all operations.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support maintenance teams effectively.
- have a proactive and independent work style with excellent problem-solving skills.
- have a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- have proven experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems maintenance, ideally within the wind energy or offshore industries – this is not necessary, but desirable.
- live within a 45 minute commutable distance from the hub in Barrow in Furness.
Successful candidates will be expected to attend an assessment day in person week commencing the 29th September.
