Overview
In this role, you lead safe and compliant operation of HV/LV assets across offshore and onshore sites, ensuring electrical safety and reliable transmission. You will work within the Farshore Transmission team to plan inspections, oversee maintenance, and support performance analysis and improvements. The position emphasizes safety, collaboration with OFTO and control engineers, and shaping efficient asset operations. It offers a hands-on role in a dynamic, mission-driven environment with a focus on safe, scalable transmission performance.

Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, compliant HV/LV operation and safety switching, including isolations
- Coordinate, plan, and supervise offshore/onshore asset inspections and maintenance
- Contribute to operation and maintenance management programme with improvement and cost-optimisation inputs
- Manage reporting, documentation, risk reviews, statutory inspections, and performance analyses
- Act as site supervisor for contractors and working parties, ensuring alignment with ØESR
- Liaise with Control Engineers, OFTO stakeholders, and internal teams to support safe operations
Key requirements
- Senior authorised person (SAP) with development capabilities for 220kV
- Electrical engineering experience in a relevant industry, including maintenance planning and HV operations
- Physically fit to work on offshore/onshore assets, or equivalent experience
- Full driving licence
- Thrive in flexible working patterns, including on-call rotations for SAP categories
- Strong planning, reporting, communication, and coordination skills
