Overview
In this role you will lead safe, high‑quality maintenance on offshore wind assets, guiding a team of turbine technicians and coordinating planning and logistics. You’ll identify recurrent faults, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive asset reliability. The position sits within the Far Shore Supervisor team and partners with regional technical and remote diagnostic units to safeguard offshore operations. You’ll influence safety culture and deliver effective work preparation and execution in a complex offshore environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead safe execution of maintenance activities to high operational, quality and safety standards
- Provide safety leadership and foster a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with WTSR and safe systems of work
- Develop and coach high‑performing teams, including performance management and competence development
- Lead work preparation and execution readiness with plans, work orders, materials, and contractor support
- Drive asset performance and reliability through priority setting, defect resolution, and progress communication
- Coordinate campaign works and maintenance tasks with Operations Manager and cross‑functional teams
- Collaborate with Regional Technical Site Supervisors, Project Support and remote diagnostics for asset management
- Identify common, recurring and major component faults and drive cross‑department solutions
- Support offshore operations with logistics planning and daily management of technicians
- Maintain clear communication of risks and improvement opportunities
Key requirements
- Experience leading technical teams and managing performance
- Strong maintenance delivery and work execution understanding, preferably offshore wind or safety‑critical industries
- Experience with SAP processes, maintenance plans, task lists, and work order management
- WTSR competence/certification or experience with similar safe systems of work
- Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills, ideally Siemens Direct Drive
- Ability to prioritise competing demands using asset performance and risk information
- Excellent safety leadership, communication and stakeholder management in offshore settings
- Technical or engineering qualification (HNC/HND or Degree preferred) or equivalent industry experience
