Based: Portsmouth + Hybrid working Home & Office
Salary / Package: Β£40k - Β£55k (DOE) + Pension.

The company has a strong reputation for fabricating & installing large high quality aluminium glazing & facade products onto commercial projects across London & the South. The company is experiencing growth and is now looking to hire a further commercial Estimator with relevant aluminium glazing, facade product & commercial projects experience.
Responsibilities:
- Potential of a hybrid working environment splitting your time estimating from home and within the office. Attending site visits in London and across the South where applicable.
- Working closely with the Estimating Manager to produce quotes and manage tenders for fabricating & installing on large commercial building envelope projects.
- Build up cost estimation using Logikal estimating software.
- Building relationships with Main Contractors, Architects and Local Authorities.
- Take off quantities from drawings when necessary.
- Reviewing tender enquiry documents.
- Communicate with a range of contacts including customers, suppliers and senior members of the business.
- Finalise any changes and submit price.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a commercial Estimator role and experience with Logikal Estimating software is required.
- The role requires a highly organised individual to help manage a constant flow of enquiries. Experience of dealing with a range of customers such as main contractors, architects & local authorities is required.
- An understanding of the fenestration and total building envelope fabrication and installer market would be advantageous.
- Experience reading project drawings and having a technical understanding of a range of Aluminium glazing & door systems and cladding and total building envelope would be advantageous.
