At ORRJO, we help B2B technology companies grow through lead generation, demand generation and strategic marketing. Research sits at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys learning, analysing information and turning complex topics into clear, actionable insights. This isn't a data entry role. You'll spend your days researching markets, analysing industries, identifying trends, reading reports, validating information and producing high-quality research that helps shape our clients' go-to-market strategies.
You'll work closely with our Research Analyst and wider marketing team to build reports, support campaigns and become an expert on the industries our clients operate in.
What you'll be doing:
- Conducting in-depth market, competitor and industry research.
- Researching new markets, technologies and buying trends.
- Supporting the creation of go-to-market strategy documents.
- Producing clear research reports and summaries for clients.
- Reading whitepapers, analyst reports and industry publications, then distilling the key insights.
- Identifying buyer personas, ICPs and market opportunities.
- Supporting newsletter research and content planning.
- Proofreading reports, presentations and marketing content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Fact-checking information from multiple sources.
- Helping identify new campaign ideas through market analysis.
- Organising research into clear, easy-to-use documentation.
- Working with the wider team to ensure research is translated into practical marketing activity.
What we're looking for:
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy.
- Naturally curious and enjoys researching new topics.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written English and grammar.
- A confident writer who can simplify complex information.
- Someone who enjoys reading, studying and continuously learning.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Able to work independently and investigate answers without constant direction.
- Comfortable reviewing large amounts of information and identifying what actually matters.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience using AI tools to support research is a bonus, but you'll know how to verify information rather than simply accepting AI outputs.
What we offer:
- 4 days a week based in our Glasgow office.
- 30 days annual leave, including public holidays.
- Clear opportunities for career progression as ORRJO continues to grow.
- Regular team socials and company outings.
- Ongoing training and development to support your growth.
- The opportunity to work across a wide variety of industries, with no two days the same.
We'd love to hear from you if you...
- Love solving problems through research.
- Enjoy finding insights that other people miss.
- Notice the smallest details.
- Get satisfaction from producing polished, high-quality work.
- Like learning about different industries every week.
- Want to build a career in research, strategy and marketing.
This is an opportunity to become part of a fast-growing agency where your research will directly influence marketing strategy, sales campaigns and business growth for companies across a range of industries.
