Orridge is a leading stocktaking provider to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking involves counting stock in retail or pharmacy locations. Our stocktake teams scan barcodes using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system. We have vacancies for Stocktakers in our South region.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy of stocktakes.
- Follow clear instructions and procedures.
- Operate efficiently to deliver the stocktake service productively.
- Be flexible with availability to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends).
- Travel within the Orridge region, often to a different location each day.
- Own transport is an advantage but not essential.
- No prior stocktaker experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Starting hourly rate: £8.91. Bonus scheme applies from day 1; bonus hourly rates up to £10.22. Minimum 4 hours pay per day. Performance-related bonus scheme. A higher pay rate (performance-based) from day 1. Fortnightly pay. Paid travel expenses or transport to work provided. Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. Up to 48 hours of work per week. This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon/evening work and can require early morning work. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A stocktaker spends a lot of time on their feet; some use of ladders is involved.
