Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system.
Responsibilities:
- Stocktaking by counting stock at retail or pharmacy locations.
- Use of Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system to scan barcodes.
- Work typically as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.
What we seek from applicants:
- Enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
- Attention to detail - the accuracy of stocktakes is our priority.
- The ability to follow clear instructions and procedures.
- The drive to operate efficiently - deliver the stocktake service productively.
- Flexibility, with availability to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends).
- Willingness to travel (within an Orridge region), often to a different location each day.
- Own transport is an advantage, but not essential.
- No prior stocktaker experience is required, as full training will be provided.
We offer:
- Minimum 4 hours pay per day.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.

This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon / evening work and can require early morning work. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A stocktaker spends a lot of time on their feet and some use of ladders is involved.
