Casual Stocktaker
Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system.
We have vacancies for Stocktakers in our South region. Our stocktakers typically work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.
Responsibilities:- Count stock using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system.
- Work as part of a team; follow supervisor guidance.
- Adhere to clear instructions and procedures; maintain accuracy of stocktakes.
- Operate efficiently to deliver the stocktake service.
- Flexibility to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends).
- Travel within an Orridge region to different locations as required.
- Own transport is an advantage but not essential.
- No prior stocktaker experience is required; full training will be provided.
- Enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stocktakes.
- The ability to follow clear instructions and procedures.
- The drive to operate efficiently and deliver the service productively.
- Flexible availability to work weekends and multiple days per week.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Full training will be provided if needed.
- Minimum 4 hours pay per day.

This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon/evening work and can require early morning work.
