Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system. This is a casual contract. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon/evening work and can require early morning work. A stocktaker spends a lot of time on their feet, and some use of ladders is involved. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Count stock in retail or pharmacy locations by scanning barcodes using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system.
  • Work typically as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.
  • Travel within an Orridge region to a different location each day as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
  • Attention to detail – accuracy of stocktakes is the priority.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and procedures.
  • Drive to operate efficiently – deliver the stocktake service productively.
  • Flexibility, with availability to work at least 3 days per week. Weekend work also available.
  • Willingness to travel (within an Orridge region), often to a different location each day.
  • Own transport is an advantage, but not essential.
  • No prior stocktaker experience is required, as full training will be provided.
