Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system.

We have vacancies for Stocktakers in our South region. Our stocktakers typically work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.

We seek from applicants:

  • Enthusiasm and a good work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and procedures
  • Drive to operate efficiently
  • Flexibility to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends)
  • Willingness to travel within an Orridge region, often to a different location each day
  • Own transport is an advantage but not essential
  • No prior stocktaker experience is required as full training will be provided

This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon / evening work and can require early morning work - applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A stocktaker spends a lot of time on their feet and some use of ladders is involved.

Responsibilities:

  • Count stock and record results using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system
  • Work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor
  • Travel within the Orridge region to different locations as required
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy of stocktakes
