Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system.
We have vacancies for Stocktakers in our South region. Our stocktakers typically work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Stocktaking in retail or pharmacy locations by scanning barcodes using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system.
- Work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.
- Deliver the stocktake service productively to meet client requirements.
- Enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
- Attention to detail - the accuracy of our stocktakes is our priority.
- The ability to follow clear instructions and procedures.
- The drive to operate efficiently.
- Flexibility, with availability to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends).
- Willingness to travel (within an Orridge region), often to a different location each day.
- Own transport is an advantage, but not essential.
- No prior stocktaker experience is required, as full training will be provided.
- Minimum 4 hours pay per day.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.

This is a casual contract. Full, paid training will be provided. Orridge operates 7 days per week. The role often requires afternoon/evening work and can require early morning work. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A stocktaker spends a lot of time on their feet and some use of ladders is involved.
