Join Orri as a Somatic Therapist in London (Part-Time) at Wimpole Street. This is a permanent position, requiring 15 hours per week. At Orri, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We're looking for an experienced, compassionate Somatic Therapist to join our outstanding multidisciplinary team at the UK's only specialist eating disorder clinic rated overall 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver body-based therapeutic interventions within a specialist eating disorder service recognised for innovation and exceptional clinical care. Working across our Day Treatment and Outpatient services, you'll support clients to:

  • Develop greater nervous system regulation
  • Reconnect safely with their bodies
  • Process trauma where appropriate
  • Strengthen embodiment throughout recovery

You'll deliver both individual and group interventions while collaborating closely with psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, nurses, and family therapists.

We're Looking For

You will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Somatic Therapy, Body Psychotherapy, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing®, or another recognised body-based modality.
  • Registration or accreditation with an appropriate professional body (e.g. UKCP, HCPC, BACP or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting adults and/or adolescents with eating disorders or complex mental health presentations.
  • Strong trauma-informed practice and knowledge of nervous system regulation.
  • Experience facilitating therapeutic groups.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) training or accreditation is desirable.
