Orrest Digital is the UK’s leading social agency for convenience stores. We are at the forefront of the Q-Commerce revolution. We don’t just 'post for likes' - we drive millions in revenue by taking on the giants, proving that local independent shops are at the forefront of rapid delivery.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who wants to be the primary link between our agency and the UK’s most ambitious retailers. You will be the face of Orrest Digital for our clients. You’ll have the creative freedom to define what 'Social-First Retail' looks like while managing a portfolio of store socials from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities- Client Partnership & Success: You are the main point of contact. You’ll lead monthly strategy calls, consult, and show them exactly how your work is driving their shop's growth.
- Q-Commerce Engine: You aren’t just posting; you’re driving app downloads. You’ll understand how social media translates into a surge of online orders.
- Content Transformation: You’ll take shop-floor content and turn it into high-impact, scroll-stopping content for client socials.
- Creative Direction: You’ll brief clients on exactly what to capture, directing them on hooks, trends, and must-have content to ensure we have the best material to work with.
- Strategic Growth: You’ll be working with retailers and guiding them on what works & what grows their socials & sales.
- On-site visits: This role requires a full UK driving licence with access to your own transport.
- Client-First Mentality: You enjoy building relationships. You can take a busy shop owner's vision and turn it into a concrete social strategy that wins.
- Q-Commerce Native: You live and breathe social media and understand the 'I want it now' economy. You know exactly what makes someone click 'Order Now.'
- Think Like a Creator: You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. You’d rather ship a high-energy, authentic video today than a 'perfect' corporate one next week.
- Confident & Articulate: You’re comfortable leading meetings and presenting results to business owners, explaining the ROI of social media with total confidence.
- A Storyteller: You know how to take simple content and turn it into a community event. You understand pacing, local humour and how to write captions that convert.
- Ambitious: You’re not looking for a job; you’re looking to be a key player in a startup.
