This role can be based at any of our office locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, York, Glasgow. At ORR we have adopted hybrid working and are currently expected to work from a workplace location for a minimum of two days per week or 40%.

We are looking for a Principal Engineer – Electrification and Power, to join our team of Power, Control and Command Systems engineering experts for Electrical Power, Telecoms and Railway Signalling. We support our Operations, Economic and Safety colleagues to ensure a safe, sustainable and reliable railway.

Reporting to the Head of Power, Control and Command Systems, the role is primarily dealing with holding infrastructure managers (IM's) such as Network Rail and High Speed 1.
