The AI Business Specialist supports the organisation’s AI transformation by working closely with the AI Business Lead and broader AI team to identify, develop, and operationalise AI-driven opportunities. This is a junior role designed for individuals passionate about Artificial Intelligence, innovation, and business transformation. The role focuses on supporting AI initiatives, driving employee AI upskilling, and managing internal AI communities and engagement efforts. Acting as a key enabler of AI adoption, the AI Business Specialist helps embed AI into everyday business processes and fosters a culture of responsible and effective AI use across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support AI Opportunity Identification and Delivery
    • Assist in identifying AI use cases by engaging with business teams and capturing their needs.
    • Support workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions led by the AI Business Lead.
    • Help document business challenges and translate them into structured AI use case descriptions.
    • Contribute to evaluating opportunities in terms of feasibility, value, and impact.
  • Enable AI Adoption and Upskilling
    • Support the design and delivery of AI training sessions, workshops, and learning programmes for employees.
    • Develop and maintain AI learning materials (guides, playbooks, prompts, best practices).
    • Act as a first point of contact for employees seeking guidance on using enterprise AI tools.
    • Promote awareness of AI capabilities and encourage practical adoption across teams.
  • Manage Internal AI Community
    • Help establish and manage the organisation’s internal AI community (e.g., champions network, user groups).
    • Organise community initiatives such as knowledge-sharing sessions, demos, and showcases.
    • Foster collaboration and sharing of AI use cases across departments.
    • Track engagement, feedback, and adoption trends within the community.
  • Support AI Project Execution
    • Work with cross-functional teams (business, data, and technology) to support AI initiatives.
    • Assist in preparing materials, tracking progress, and coordinating activities across projects.
    • Ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Communication and Engagement
    • Translate AI concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
    • Support the creation of presentations, updates, and internal communications on AI initiatives.
    • Contribute to storytelling around AI successes and impact within the organisation.
  • Promote Responsible AI
    • Support adherence to responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and ethical use.
