An established company are currently looking for a Building/Insurance Surveyor to join their team. The Building/Insurance Surveyor role is a 50/50 office/field-based role and involves surveying properties in line with insurance information, obtaining required data and preparing schedules of work.

Building/Insurance Surveyor responsibilities:
- Assessing property damage and preparing a scope of works to be submitted to the insurer
- Identify defects and advise on effective remedial works
- Thoroughly assessing any damage and entering relevant information onto the in-house database system
- Preparing reports and updates for customers, assisting with key decisions and recommendations
- Making liability decisions and appointing suppliers to deliver timely repairs and resolutions
- Ensuring works are managed in a cost-effective and customer-focused way
