An expanding logistics company is looking to recruit an experienced Business Support Manager. The role involves assisting the senior management team in operations, logistics, customer services, business admin, basic HR/finance, and compliance.
Salary: Up to £40k
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:30-5:30pm
You will need to have knowledge and a good understanding of business practices.
Business Support Manager duties:
- Managing compliance administration and checking paperwork meets regulations
- Dealing with new and existing suppliers
- Raising purchase orders as required
- Providing HR assistance to the Senior Management Team
- Assisting colleagues when departments are busy
- Health & Safety management - ensuring information is up to date and in line for compliance checks
- Keeping records of key documentation up to date
- Assisting with compliance reviews and internal/external audits
- Managing ISO 9001/14001/45001 accreditations
- Managing multiple diaries
- Liaising with European hubs as and when required
Business Support Manager skills:
- Excellent communication skills, covering face to face meetings, customer relations and business email responses
- High attention to detail
- Good all round business functions knowledge of HR, Finance and Compliance
- European language would be beneficial but not essential
