Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks around the site
  • Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed
  • Install or repair basic fixtures and fittings
  • Carry out minor carpentry, painting, and patching work
  • Keep the site clean, organised, and safe
  • Move materials and equipment when required
  • Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • Follow all site health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Basic handyman or construction experience
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools
  • Good practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to lift materials
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety
