We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter. The role involves carrying out high-quality finishing carpentry work, including doors, skirting, architraves, flooring, staircases, and other interior woodwork. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: * Install internal doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery * Fit staircases, balustrades, and handrails to a high standard * Install wooden flooring, built-in furniture, and cabinetry * Work with precision to achieve high-quality finishes * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations * Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently * Maintain tools and equipment in good working order * Proficiency in using a range of carpentry tools and equipment * Strong understanding of joinery techniques and finishing methods * Ability to work from technical drawings and plans * Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and problem-solving skills * Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential) * Own tools and PPE (preferred) * Full UK driving license (preferred)
