We are looking for a qualified engineer in Sunbury to become a Trainee Tester, who would like to progress and become NVQ4 qualified Testers. We will provide you with all necessary training to become an independent and qualified Tester. You will be enrolled for NVQ4 training and also Technical Training within the Company. This role is in the Modernisation department which covers replacements and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out pre‑tests on company installations and modernisations and compiling a snag list for engineers/trades etc as necessary.
  • On‑site adjusting and testing of lifts to ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation and lift regulations.
  • Supporting the completion of test sheets and supporting company and client documentation as required.
  • Using technical experience, specifically an understanding of lift control systems and electrical knowledge.
  • Supporting other departments as necessary.
