ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. We are looking for a Trainee Tester ideally NVQ3, who would like to progress and become NVQ4 qualified Testers. We will provide you with all necessary training to become an independent and qualified Tester. You will be enrolled for NVQ4 training and also Technical Training within the Company.
As a Trainee Tester you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out pre-tests to company installations and modernisations compiling snag list for engineers/trades etc as necessary.
- Onsite adjusting and testing of lifts to ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation and lift regulations.
- Support with completion of test sheets and supporting company and client documentation as required.
- Using technical experience, specifically an understanding of lift control systems and electrical knowledge.
- Support other departments as necessary.
