The Role
We are looking for a Lift Field Technician to join our Service Team covering Glasgow Centre and surrounding areas. You will be an experienced Service Engineer with an NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering and LEIA training.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical support using problem‑solving techniques to provide solutions and recommendations
- Testing lift modernisations
- Using your expertise to solve technical problems associated with lift/elevator call-outs and repairs
- Supporting a team of Service Engineers using your experience of working with Orona and other lift products
- Obtaining and enhancing knowledge on a wide range of lift types and equipment
- Managing time covering a geographical region and working on your own initiative
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within the lift industry
- NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering
- Knowledge of lift types – reasonable understanding of all major competitor equipment
- Problem‑solving skills – able to identify problems, break them down into smaller elements, pinpoint possible solutions, prioritise these elements and construct an action plan
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK (mandatory)
