The Role

We are looking for a Lift Field Technician to join our Service Team covering Glasgow Centre and surrounding areas. You will be an experienced Service Engineer with an NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering and LEIA training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support using problem‑solving techniques to provide solutions and recommendations
  • Testing lift modernisations
  • Using your expertise to solve technical problems associated with lift/elevator call-outs and repairs
  • Supporting a team of Service Engineers using your experience of working with Orona and other lift products
  • Obtaining and enhancing knowledge on a wide range of lift types and equipment
  • Managing time covering a geographical region and working on your own initiative

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within the lift industry
  • NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering
  • Knowledge of lift types – reasonable understanding of all major competitor equipment
  • Problem‑solving skills – able to identify problems, break them down into smaller elements, pinpoint possible solutions, prioritise these elements and construct an action plan
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK (mandatory)
