We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Lifts Contract Manager in Warrington, to lead the delivery of Lift modernisation and full replacement projects across occupied buildings and refurbishment sites. You will be responsible for managing projects from order receipt through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects will typically involve work in occupied residential, commercial, healthcare, and public buildings, as well as construction sites where existing buildings are being renovated. Success in this role requires strong planning, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver safely while minimising disruption to building users and other trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of assigned projects.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and senior management to protect and improve project margins.
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and milestone schedules.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
- Manage safe working practices in occupied buildings and live construction environments.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, managing agents, and site teams.
- Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with specifications and company standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing lift modernisation and full replacement projects.
- Experience working in occupied buildings and live refurbishment or renovation environments.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and construction health and safety legislation.
- Excellent commercial and contractual management skills.
- Experience leading field-based installation teams and subcontractors.
- SMSTS or equivalent site safety qualification.
- Lift engineering qualifications.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence.
