The Role
We have an opportunity for candidates with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering backgrounds to join our growing organisation. We are looking for Mechanical or Electrical Engineers for our Dumfries or Carlisle areas, who are looking for the first or next step in their career. Orona's Transferable Skills Programme will help you to gain the knowledge and experience to work as an independent Lift Engineer. You will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry. Depending on your learning progress, you will then be enrolled for the NVQ level 3 course within either the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through Education or through recent work experience
- Ideally possess one of the following:
- Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
- The ability to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills
- Clean UK driving licence
