The Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our Sheffield‑based Repairs team. This position is ideal for individuals with a confident, proactive “can‑do” attitude who are eager to build a sales career and advance within a structured, supportive environment. Previous sales experience is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.

In this role you will:

  • Evaluate and assess extra work requests from clients, Service Managers, engineers and insurance reports.
  • Obtain supplier prices, prepare estimates and submit quotations for extra work.
  • Follow up on orders for extra work and ensure client satisfaction upon completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Service Manager to introduce, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Build comprehensive product knowledge across the Orona product portfolio.
  • Develop an understanding of competitor offerings and broader market trends.
  • Actively prospect and generate new sales enquiries.
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Support opportunity and sales development through effective sales techniques.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within the lift industry (preferred).
  • Clean UK driving licence (essential).
  • Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
  • Customer focus – building effective relationships with internal and external customers, gaining trust and respect by exceeding expectations.
  • Negotiation – capable of negotiating skilfully in challenging situations to win concessions without damaging relationships.
  • Active listening – patiently hearing people out and accurately summarising what has been said.
