The Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our Sheffield‑based Repairs team. This position is ideal for individuals with a confident, proactive “can‑do” attitude who are eager to build a sales career and advance within a structured, supportive environment. Previous sales experience is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
In this role you will:
- Evaluate and assess extra work requests from clients, Service Managers, engineers and insurance reports.
- Obtain supplier prices, prepare estimates and submit quotations for extra work.
- Follow up on orders for extra work and ensure client satisfaction upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Service Manager to introduce, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Build comprehensive product knowledge across the Orona product portfolio.
- Develop an understanding of competitor offerings and broader market trends.
- Actively prospect and generate new sales enquiries.
- Prepare quotations.
- Support opportunity and sales development through effective sales techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within the lift industry (preferred).
- Clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
- Customer focus – building effective relationships with internal and external customers, gaining trust and respect by exceeding expectations.
- Negotiation – capable of negotiating skilfully in challenging situations to win concessions without damaging relationships.
- Active listening – patiently hearing people out and accurately summarising what has been said.
