The Role
As the Lift Repairs Estimator you will be responsible for identifying repair work opportunities; compiling quotations for repair works and progressing with customers to gain chargeable orders. You will liaise with service and account managers in regional offices to maximise chargeable repair order opportunities. You will review customer orders gained and accurately prepare repairs package for handover to relevant Repairs Supervisor for completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Review maintenance reports and engineer notes to identify repair opportunities.
- Create accurate, timely quotations for repairs and insurance requests.
- Follow up with clients to ensure quotes are received and understood.
- Convert quotes into orders by building trust and offering solutions.
- Support admin tasks in the regional service office, including handling calls.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in the lift industry is essential, ideally in a sale or estimating capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in IT tools and systems related to quoting and customer management.
