Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity? Orona is looking for an HR Advisor to join our small but mighty HR team!

About Us

ORONA's activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants, Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting the business in a varied and generalised role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers and employers
  • Support the business with employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance management, family leave etc.
  • Prepare HR documentation
  • Provide advice on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with updating and developing HR policies as required
  • Payroll administration
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Support with training and development initiatives including liaising with 3rd party training providers, and supporting the delivery of HR related training and the Company Induction
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team with projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor in the UK
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 Qualification (or working towards)
  • Strong Knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience handling employee relations cases independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities simultaneously, and has the ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Very strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Flexible to attend offices across the UK as required
  • Full clean driving licence and has own transport
