The Role

As the Repairs Estimator you will be responsible for identifying repair work opportunities; compiling quotations for repair works and progressing with customers to gain chargeable orders. Liaises with service & account managers in regional offices to maximise chargeable repair order opportunities. Reviews customer orders gained and accurately prepares repairs package for handover to relevant Repairs Supervisor for completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review maintenance reports and engineer notes to identify repair opportunities.
  • Create accurate, timely quotations for repairs and insurance requests.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure quotes are received and understood.
  • Convert quotes into orders by building trust and offering solutions.
  • Support admin tasks in the regional service office, including handling calls.

  • Previous experience in the lift industry is essential, ideally in a sale or estimating capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and systems related to quoting and customer management.
