Role maintains the Company's ordering system in line with standard procedures, provides stock control and acts as the conduit for spare parts ordering for the South Region. Investigates and identifies products/parts for Third Party Sales, processing orders from quote to delivery. Ensures the warehouse is kept tidy and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Materials Procurement – Respond to Southern Region Service/Repair Team requests to provide necessary spare parts for Service & Repair.
- Third Party Sales – Liaise with Third Party customers to identify spare parts required, enter details onto spreadsheets, raise spare part quotations, order items and arrange dispatch.
- Stock Control – Maintain stock levels of all store inventory items, purchase replacements when reorder points are reached, administer returns to suppliers for credit or replacement, and issue PPE, tools and van stock to visiting service engineers.
- Warehouse Housekeeping – Keep the main warehouse clean, organised and in a safe and secure state at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a warehouse facility; basic technical knowledge of lift products is beneficial.
- Proficiency with both manual and computerised stock control systems.
- Knowledge and experience of warehouse processes and distribution systems.
- Working knowledge of materials management and inventory control.
- Working knowledge of the current Orona material systems.
- Clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
