Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm (Rotating Day Shifts)

Salary: £13.55 - £14.50 per hour for candidates with relevant food manufacturing skills and experience

We have exciting opportunities available for Skilled Production Operatives with previous manufacturing experience to join our team in Nantwich on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be working as part of a team on one of our state-of-the-art Production lines. You will carry out all Production-related tasks to produce the highest quality and great tasting products for some of our well-known customers. We use some of the latest interactive technologies to monitor our product quality and measure our efficiency levels.

Successful candidates will need to be able to operate within a challenging but rewarding factory environment that is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks. The role will be based within a chilled environment (less than 8 degrees) and will involve heavy lifting. The required PPE is provided by Ornua.

A Day in the Life of a Skilled Production Operative:

  • Daily operation of the (Ilpack and Sandicure) machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Report and/or correct safety issues.
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and finished products.
  • Set up machines and changeovers for manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor the production lines to ensure products are of the best quality standards.

  • Experience working in a Manufacturing, FMCG or Food environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
  • Good understanding of Food Hygiene, quality and safety standards.
