Ormiston Venture Academy is seeking an Administration Assistant to support the pastoral team, helping maintain accurate student records, support academy systems and contribute to a positive student focused environment.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • a strong knowledge of IT and data
  • experience working with students in an educational setting
  • a solid understanding of a range of specialist equipment
  • basic first aid knowledge

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key, including the ability to guide and encourage students, liaise with colleagues, and maintain confidentiality. A strong awareness of medical conditions such as asthma and epilepsy, along with a good understanding of health and safety procedures, is essential.

This role is 37 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days).
