About the role

This is an exciting opportunity at Venture Academy which requires enthusiastic and passionate individuals with the drive to help our students to achieve their very best.

Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a friendly, energetic 1‑1 Teaching Assistant for a period of maternity cover, to attend to the educational, personal and social needs of pupils and any other requirements depending on the pupil’s special needs and wherever possible, make these part of the learning experience (this may include toileting, other hygiene needs, help with dressing and/or assisting with feeding if necessary).

Working hours and term

This role is for 36 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days) for a period of maternity cover. The role of a teaching assistant in the Academy is vital in promoting and supporting pupils with their needs in their learning experience.
