Learning Support Assistant - Inclusion in Lowestoft

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive and well established team.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and SEND staff to support students’ learning, engagement and wellbeing, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will help students overcome barriers to learning, promote independence and confidence, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive and committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.

Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the wider inclusion team, you will support students who may have gaps in their learning, such as mid-year joiners, to make good progress. You may also provide targeted support in The Bridge, our on site Pupil Support Unit. There are two available posts, one permanent and one for a fixed term period of one academic year.

We are looking for candidates with experience of working with children or young people preferably in an educational/pastoral setting. You will have strong communication skills, empathy and ability to develop relationships. You will be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for all students.
