Be part of a team where passion meets purpose. As the Assistant Principal you will be a full member of the Academy’s Senior Leadership Team, sharing strategic leadership responsibilities as directed by the Principal and working with other SLT colleagues. You will report to the Vice Principal for Teaching, Training and Inclusion, and collaborate with the Principal and Senior Vice Principal to establish and monitor quality assurance procedures for all aspects of the academy’s work, ensuring that teaching and learning is excellent and high‑performing.
Responsibilities
- Lead performance management and line management of staff.
- Ensure a positive ethos and effective learning environment across the Academy, contributing to high rates of student progress.
- Share collective responsibility with SLT for upholding ethical standards and maintaining a culture of excellence.
- Support and contribute to the Academy’s strategic plans, monitoring and improving educational outcomes.
