About the role

As a Teacher of Psychology and Social Sciences, you will primarily work with Key Stage 5 (KS5) students, inspiring and challenging them while fostering a deep understanding of their subject and developing their critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the delivery, planning and assessment of KS5 psychology and other social sciences.
- Teach psychology and, if required, other social science subjects.
- Collaborate within the social sciences department to raise achievement.
- Take on a range of activities within the department.
- Maintain high expectations for all learners and support them in achieving their potential.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status with the capacity to teach to Key Stage 5.
- Demonstrated ability to lead on delivery, planning and assessment.
- Versatility to teach a range of social science subjects.
- Strong collaborative working skills within a team.
- High expectations for all learners.
- Experience as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher; all ECTs receive excellent induction support.
